Microlon Greases can be used where there are bearing metal surfaces but no combustion. Without the need for the cleaning complexes in the Microlon liquids, Microlon greases are typically applied directly to the bearing surfaces like fifth wheel lubrication, exposed gears, chain and sprockets. Microlon greases also have marine applications.

Microlon Assembly Lubricant is designed for use on all metal moving parts during the assembly process. Lightly coat all bearings, shafts, bushings, sleeves, piston rings, ring lands, pistons, cylinder bores, wrist pins, valve stems, valve guides, timing chains, gears, camshaft lobes, rocker arms, pushrod ends and anywhere metal-to metal contact occurs. Microlon Assembly Lubricant provides excellent rust and corrosion protection for long-term storage after assembly. It will not run off during storage and protects against dry-starts when the unit is returned to service. Because Microlon reduces friction in close fits, it will prevent many seizing and galling problems. The Microlon resin impregnates the surface where applied and forms the durable Microlon film. This film replaces metal-to-metal contact with Microlon-to-Microlon contact to reduce friction and to ease operation. After the permanent film forms, you can go back to using original lube specs or continue on with our great Microlon products.
